The ties between Paris and Beirut go back a long way. Formalized by a Friendship and Cooperation Agreement signed in June 1993, they were galvanized in September 2006 by the signing of a Cooperation Memorandum. The City of Paris has been supporting the renovation of the Yellow House since September 2008. It has mobilized a team of municipal experts to help the City of Beirut in managing the project.
